How much does it cost?
Perspective is priced for schools based on your NOR. There are different pricing models for Primary, Secondary, Special, Nursery and PRUs. Children's Centres have their own pricing structure which is not based on the same formula. The price is an annual licence which INCLUDES all updates to the software within your licence period.
Do I have to keep my SEF updated on the Ofsted website?
The SEF is NOT a statutory document. Obviously we recommend you do have a complete and up-to-date SEF and Perspective will always support the latest SEF for your setting and you can produce an exact replica of the SEF within Perspective. This can be emailed, printed, or saved to hard disk. You do NOT have to maintain your SEF on the Ofsted online SEF however we have made available the facility to upload parts A and C of your SEF from Perspective to the Ofsted SEF website with a click of a button.
Is there any installation required?
Just like Raise Online, Perspective is a web-based system, installed and maintained by us and held at our partners, Rackspace (click here for more information on Rackspace including security and certification). This is a secure facility, backed up and held in nuclear proof bunkers so you can still continue to evaluate and plan in the event of a nuclear war!
So no installation required, no involvement needed from your IT department, you just need an internet browser (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox) and an internet connection!
