The previous version of Perspective focused
on the effective completion of the S3 and S4.
Working together with head teachers we developed a series
of “bite sized” questions that would be far easier
to make judgments against than the headline statements contained
within the S3 and S4.
By linking these questions to evidence types that would support
these judgments we were able to deliver an application that
supported the evaluation process and reduced the burden on
Head Teachers.
With the introduction of SEF, we were then asked by LAs
to enhance Perspective from its current format to now accommodate
real data imports from your LA and map the “bite sized”
questions to the expanded requirements of the SEF.
The Application
Perspective combines evidential data from your LA
with simple, easy to answer “bite sized” questions
written by head teachers in conjunction with Ofsted inspectors.
Using both real data and self evaluative responses to produce
a completed SEF, Perspective provides a powerful foundation
for the single conversation with schools.
Perspective supports your self evaluation process by informing
‘evidence based’ judgments and therefore increasing
your confidence in the completed SEF.
