Customer Support Technician

Starting Salary: £18,000-£20,000 (plus benefits)
Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Liverpool

We are looking for a friendly, driven and unique individual to join our growing customer support team at Angel Solutions. Your excellent problem-solving and tech skills will be put to good use in this role. You’ll be answering incoming support tickets from external customers whilst ensuring that in-house issues are also kept at bay. This is a fast-paced role in a friendly, close-knit team. Enthusiasm for IT and excellent communication skills are a must.

Job Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • enjoys dealing with customers and finding solutions to their problems
  • is computer literate and has experience working with modern technology
  • has good written and verbal communication
  • is able to work independently when required and manage a changing workload
  • is good at explaining problems and solutions, whether written or verbal
  • excels at juggling issues and prioritising tasks
  • is able to prioritise and remain calm under pressure

Education & Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a passion for helping people and ensuring our customers get the best possible experience. Having good IT skills is important as well as a desire to learn as training will be provided.

Strong written and verbal communication in English is a must

Day-to-Day Role

Day-to-Day Role

  • Being the first point of contact in helping our customers. We work with Multi Academy Trusts, Local Authorities and schools all over the country. You’ll help them get the most out of our web-based applications.
  • Using different tools such as Zendesk ticketing system, phones, JIRA, Live chat to support any queries our customers may have.
  • Creating and maintaining both our external product and internal process-knowledge-base.
  • Working closely with internal staff, in particular our Renewals and New Business teams, with a key focus on customer retention and upselling.

We pride ourselves on our personable and efficient approach to support; we turnaround all queries as quickly as possible – most within minutes or hours – our clients love us for it and you will be an important part of this.
