Seizing Success was a Success!
In June 2013, Andy Kent (CEO) was invited to speak at the Seizing Success 2013 annual leadership conference at the ICC in Birmingham.
The workshop was titled “Developing innovative knowledge management systems to share information and drive improvement“
The Workshop description was:
The issue of using and sharing data effectively to support school and setting improvement and practitioner development is central to high-quality teaching and learning. The new innovative approaches that will be outlined will demonstrate the potential of presenting data and information in different ways that engage the whole school community. This workshop will consider how innovative approaches to collating and presenting data can support: improved teaching and learning, school and setting performance and pupil progress
By developing processes to link performance data to research and practice development, this workshop will explore how leaders can work together to ensure information about what works gets to the practitioners and leaders who can benefit from it most.
Andy spoke alongside Nigel Griffiths from John Kyrle High School in Herefordshire who also spoke on how they are using the full version of Perspective to deal with Performance Management, Performance Related Pay and aligning your Performance Targets with your School Development Plan.
