Angel Updated Visit Reports now live in Pendulum
What’s new in Pendulum for Visit Reports
- Previous Actions now appear at the top, making it easier to see what has already been identified or carried forward
- Visit Actions now appear at the bottom, keeping actions from the current visit together
Reminder: Configure the default for actions shown in visit reports
The Report Preferences settings give you control over which actions appear in your visit reports for the Local Authority, allowing you to tailor reports to what is most useful for your teams.
By default, previous actions for a school appear on visit PDFs, helping users see actions from previous meetings or visits. You can, however, use the available dropdowns to control which actions are included based on their status and term.
If you prefer not to include previous actions in visit reports, you can also switch this off altogether. These settings apply to all current AND future visit report downloads, giving you flexibility over how much previous action information is carried forward into your reports.
Make more of Pendulum this year
Now is also a good time to check that Pendulum is set up for the work you have planned for the year ahead.
The Actions Dashboard gives you an overview of actions arising from visits, helping you see what’s outstanding, spot recurring themes and identify where follow-up may be needed.
Consistent templates and approaches to recording visits can also be particularly useful when teams, responsibilities or organisational structures are changing, including during periods of Local Government Reorganisation.
