Angel Enhancements to the Pendulum Visit Page Are Now Live
The latest Pendulum update is now live, bringing a range of visual improvements and usability enhancements to the Visit page.
It also includes IMPORTANT information about changes to Issues Arising and Outcomes in the visit templates.
Updates Within Pendulum:
- Visit page visual updates and UI enhancements
- One step file attachment uploading
Clear Visit Structure:
We’ve made improvements to how visit information is presented, helping you quickly find what you need. You may just find some fields have moved up or down the page to find their natural groupings
- Choosing the focus for your visit is now at the top of the page and we will show the template you are using in the heading.
- Actions and Attachments have been grouped together.
- Issues Arising and Outcomes
The update sees the REMOVAL of 2 sections on the left-hand side for every new visit. All historic visits containing these sections will remain untouched. This applies to both “Focus” and “Other” visit types.
If you’d like to use these sections in future visits, we can easily add them to any visit templates where you’d like them to appear.

Updated Report Visibility Control for Other Visits
We’ve updated the report visibility control so you always know what a school can access before and after sharing a visit report.
Simplified and Streamlined Experience:
A number of enhancements have been introduced to improve usability across the Visit page:
- One-step file attachment uploading for a faster, more seamless process
- More consistent text sizing for improved readability
- Enhanced use of icons and buttons for clearer actions
- Additional Advisers is now correctly labelled on the visit report front cover
