New in Broadcast: Smarter file management
We are pleased to share the latest updates in Broadcast, bringing even more improvements to File Requests and a handy new export of your schools’ interactions with all the files that you share.
What’s new in Broadcast
- See Files you haven’t downloaded quickly and easily in our updates to the File Requests Dashboard.
- Export file interaction data for schools (XLS).
File Requests dashboard enhancements
Based on user feedback, we are pleased to now include the following additions to the File Requests dashboard:
- A new column called “Files to Download” has been added. This highlights any files within a request that you haven’t yet downloaded, saving you from needing to open each File Request to check for new uploads.
- The info column hover now includes the Required File Types for each request
These updates will be super handy ahead of the data collection period this year.
Export of school file interaction (Analysis)
You can now export an audit trail of school file interactions (downloads) directly from Broadcast Admin. This export is available in XLS format and includes all download activity by schools with files published via LA View in Broadcast, helping you gain clearer insight into file usage and engagement. You can choose from a number of date range options up to a maximum of 6 months per export.

The export can be accessed by users with the relevant permissions via the Broadcast Admin page.
Tip: to download more than six months of data, simply run the export multiple times using different date ranges – or get in touch with our friendly support team for help.
