Observatory Premium & Essentials Now Includes The Latest Ofsted 2025 Inspection Framework

The latest Observatory update is now live, bringing full support for the latest 2025 Ofsted inspection framework across Watchsted and key areas of Observatory Essentials & Premium.

We now support the SIAMS framework, giving you access to both SIAMS and CSI within the platform. If your trust or diocese includes faith schools, we can support inspection readiness across both frameworks in one place.

Watchsted Updates Within Observatory:

Users can now benefit from all the latest Ofsted inspection data within Watchsted.

• Maps: We now showcase and include the latest inspections on the map. Remember, any inspections after Sept 2024 are shown with a pink marker, as there is no overall grade for those!
  MATchmaker has been updated for all our Premium users too. You will now see all the latest inspection data as part of the due diligence you can do on potential schools to join your Trust. Get in touch with us if you want to find out more about this unique, time-saving feature.
• Analysis: We now focus on the latest Ofsted inspection framework for the latest 100 inspections and for benchmarking. You can still choose previous frameworks from the filters.
• Keyword Search: A new, improved layout, defaulting to the latest framework. You can now search across the new sections of the latest framework. Don’t worry, the previous frameworks are still there, and you can choose to search on them too! Don’t forget you can restrict your search to only show inspections for the schools in your organisation!
• Inspector Profiles: Our popular tool has now been updated to include Inspectors who have carried out inspections under the latest framework. Look up any Lead inspector, and you will now see how many inspections they have done under the latest AND previous frameworks.

Additional Observatory Updates:

• Homepage: Inspector Profiles Widget: We have replaced the overall grade summary with a count of the inspections they have carried out in each framework.
• Schools Dashboard: In the Ofsted tab, we now also include Inspection Data from the latest framework.
• Alerts: Now also includes 2025 Ofsted inspection alerts.

Support for SIAMS Inspections:

If you have schools in your MAT or Diocese that are subject to SIAMS inspections, Observatory and Perspective can make the process much easier. The system gives you clear oversight across your schools while providing practical support for school leaders, helping you manage data and track progress with confidence.
